In der Saison 2015\/16 wurde als Ersatz f\u00fcr die Jugendmannschaft eine zweite Mannschaft in der Interregionalen luxembourgischen Meisterschaft gemeldet, die den Wettbewerb in dieser Saison gewann. In der Saison 2017\/18 gewann der SV Friedrichsthal die Vizemeisterschaft in der Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz\/Saar und erzielte somit die beste Platzierung der Vereinsgeschichte.
